| Where have I been?
|
Just got back from a couple of weeks on the road between here and Melbourne. And before that, well I've just been busy/lazy with regards to updating my blog :(
Anna and I were in Melbourne to see/learn from Jerry Ghionis and Bambi Cantrell; two wedding photographers that have been at the forefront of wedding photography internationally for several years (longer for Bambi). They have really pushed us in our craft which is good for us, and good for you guys (if you are clients :) )
We also went to touch base with our lab and our album supplier (many of you know that we use who we consider to be the best album supplier in the world, so good in fact that they have a roster of the best photographers all around the world using their products). We love doing wedding magazine albums, and really think that they are the best way to showcase wedding photography
Speaking of which, recently at Annielyn Images we have added coffee table books to our wedding photography for those that think that wedding albums are just a little too big :)
We decided to drive to Melbourne so that we could stop at a couple of places on the way, and the way back. I saw natural snow for the first time in Thredbo (not the cheapest place to see snow for the first time, especially as I only had two hours there hahahahahaha) I say natural snow because the first time I saw snow at all was in Dubai last year (they have the world's largest indoor artificial ski slope :| strange and awesome place, Dubai LOL)
Had a great time, back into it now, new website is almost here (has taken ages for me to fully be happy with it but it's definitely worth it :) )
