It's time to update our website (all of them actually, but Annielyn first :) )
Why am I putting this on the blog?
Because I have been saying it's time to update the website for twelve months!!! So I am now publicly accountable LOL
The thing about owning a small business is that there are a lot of things that need attention and it's easy for some things to sneak some priority over others eg watching Heroes or the new season of Lost
Just got back from the annual AIPP's Hair Of The Dog in Brisbane over the weekend and I'm pumped up again for the year!
Hair Of The Dog is a photographic get together for photographers all over Australia with seminars and tradeshows and general networking. Ran into Ryan Schembri and Jess Naly; I'm big fans of both as you may have read previously
(someone's reading this blog I hope, I hope it's not just me relogging onto this page 500 times :| LOL)
Ryan being Aust's youngest Master of Photography (AIPP) and an awesome wedding photographer (thankfully not in my market yet hahahahahaha) and Jess a fav local fashion photographer - luckily I was mildly less tongue tied this time!
Last year I got to meet Joe Buissink and heard him recount his experiences over the years and his love for wedding photography (Joe's photographed Christina Applegate, Nick and Jessica and many other celeb's weddings in LA)
So I'm all excited for the year again which is good news for me, my wife and and my clients. Sometimes you wonder if you're progressing as an artist and like anyone else, I can't exist in a vacuum. I need inspiration constantly (hence my rather large Vogue and Harper's Bazaar collection ;) ) and this was like an adrenalin shot!
Unfortunately, for some strange reason *baffled* I didn't actually take a camera to this PHOTOGRAPHIC EVENT so, um, I've got nothing to show for it really.
Met Adrian and Thea finally last week after booking us through the net. They've been in England for the past few years and when I finally met them face to face, Thea and I had gone to school together! What a small town hahahaha Can't wait till their wedding on Saturday!
Been catching up on some weddings from last year, and for one reason or another, it took us ages to catch with these two from the coast! Anna and I spent our anniversary bowling with them and catching up last Friday night! Anna, being ultra competitive, kicked everyone with a high 180's score while the rest of us just, you know, played for fun!!
