1300 ANNIELYN

Just a quick note that our new number is now a 1300 number :)
As we are getting more and more out of state work (and even a little international) we have decided to make it even easier to contact us.

Wedding of Sharyn and Michael

Sharyn and Mick were married in Crow's Nest at St Luke's church on the 5th of April.
I'd met Sharyn many times before the wedding (she would always catch up with us at wedding expos and similar events) but prior to the day I hadn't met Mick.
Still he was a natural in front of the camera, and his family was one of the most friendly I've met (that's a big call considering how close we've become with some of the families we meet :))
Sharyn was absolutely gorgeous on the day (she always is) and a little known (to me) park in Crow's Nest became the backdrop to some awesome photos.
And after all that we discovered on the day our ten pin bowling connection! (Sharyn's sister/bridesmaid's partner and I competed back in the day. We were in the same league, but I never scored close to him hahahahaha)

Craig and Rebecca Wedding

Craig and Rebecca were married on the 26th of April this year in Roma at the Mt Abundance property. Sheryleigh, Kelly and I went out there to photograph their wedding and reception and as usual in Craig and Rebecca's company, had an awesome time. Previously Anna and I had been out there to photograph them for their engagement and created a guest signing book from the pictures taken on their farm. I'll put the book up soon. Congrats Rebecca and Craig, can't wait to show you the rest of the pics!

Heidi and Damen Wedding

Heid and Damen were married back in March (23rd) in Toowoomba at Holy Name.
Flying up from rural victoria to get married here where Heidi's family is from, I was blown away by an absolutely lavish marquee reception at Heidi's family home in Highfields.
Damen, who despite pretending to not enjoy photos as much as Heidi during the preshoot, revealed his misspent youth as a model to me, and Heidi was one of the few brides I have photographed to wear a fascinator instead of a veil (I know they are out there, I just don't seem to photograph many of them on my brides!)

PMA

I'm a little behind in my blogging after all the weddings and other work in April and May so will use today to catch up on a few posts :)

Firstly, it was PMA time last weekend, and APPA awards judging. This is like the Consumer Electronics Show for photographers, full of great toys for anyone with a lazy 50k to spend and a great place to get showbags :) *tries to decide if I like the Adobe pen better than the Lexar pen
, and what am I going to do with all these tote bags and backpacks??*

The APPA's were being judged there all week and it was great witness some of the live judging of photos that I recognized and by judges that have such an awesome reputation themselves.

I didn't get time to enter any of my own unfortunately with only joining this organisation recently and what not, but it is my intention to get a wider peer review (currently reviewed by a handful of professional photographers and of course, my clients:))
